Anthropic Targets $26 Billion Revenue by 2026 as AI Demand Accelerates
Artificial intelligence startup Anthropic is setting aggressive growth targets, aiming to nearly triple its annual revenue run rate to $26 billion by 2026. The San Francisco-based company, known for its Claude language models, expects to hit $9 billion in revenue by end-2025.
Enterprise adoption is driving this explosive growth, with business clients now representing 80% of sales. Over 300,000 firms use Claude tools, while the newly launched Claude Code product has already achieved nearly $1 billion in annualized revenue.
The rapid expansion brings Anthropic closer to rival OpenAI, which reported a $13 billion annual run rate in August. While OpenAI dominates consumer applications, Anthropic is making significant inroads in the enterprise sector.
